Ketamine Treatments
Ketamine has been around for many decades. Ketamine is a noncompetitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist that has traditionally been used for the induction and maintenance of anesthesia.
Ketamine therapy can be used for the management of psychiatric disorders, both chronic and medication resistant (e.g., major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, acute suicidality, obsessive compulsive disorder, and neuropathic pain). When used appropriately, ketamine is very safe and highly effective.
SPRAVATO TREATMENT
Spravato (esketamine) is a prescription medication that is used to treat depression that has not responded to other treatments. It is a nasal spray that is used in conjunction with an oral antidepressant and is intended for use in adults who have treatment-resistant depression (TRD)
Spravato has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since 2019, and its use is usually reserved for cases of severe depression where other treatments have not been effective. Spravato is a type of medication called a N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, which means it works by blocking the activity of certain brain chemicals that may contribute to depression.

Prevent opioid dependence after opioid detoxification. Opioids are well-known prescription medications used to treat chronic pain. Opioids are also a highly addictive substance. Vivitrol is meant to help individuals avoid becoming dependent on opioids again after you’ve used them in the past. You must stop using opioids for at least seven to ten days before taking Vivitrol.
Vivitrol is most effective when used with other evidence-based treatment programs, mental health counseling, and support groups.

GeneSight Psychotropic is a pharmacogenomic test which means that it analyzes how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The GeneSight test analyzes clinically important genetic variations in your DNA. Results can inform your doctor about how you may break down or respond to certain medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
